National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut or NITC) was established in 1961  is a technical university which offers  Graduation, post-graduation courses, and many higher education degrees in many areas. Those candidates who have a postgraduate degree in clinical psychiatry from any recognized institute and experience can apply for the post.

Educational Qualification

• Phil (Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Psychiatric Social Work)
• Regular PG Diploma (Full time) in Counselling and Psychotherapy/ Counselling Psychology from a reputed Institute
• Minimum of 3 years in Professional Psychological Counseling.
• Ph.D. (Psychology, Counseling, Psychiatry, Mental Health)

 Selection Process

Those candidates who are eligible will appear for the written exam and then shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and selection will be based on that only.
