Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has launched the ‘Sarthaq Scheme’ to properly implement the new education policy (New Education Policy, NEP 2020). This will help the states and Union Territories to understand the aims and objectives of the New Education Policy (NEP 2020) .

‘Sarthak’ plan outline prepared
The School Education and Literacy Department of the Union Ministry of Education has prepared the entire outline of the ‘Sarthaq Scheme’. It has been released under the Amrit Mahotsav, which is being celebrated in the joy of completing 75 years of the country. On this occasion, the Education Minister said that the ‘meaningful’ scheme is interactive, flexible and inclusive.

States get exemption to apply

The government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has prepared a 1-year action plan for the new education policy. All states can adopt this keeping in mind their local needs. If they feel the need, they can also change it. In this regard, the Ministry had received about 7177 suggestions.

Will help in understanding goals

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said that the tasks and activities under the ‘Sarthaq Scheme’ have been defined in such a way that the goals, results and timelines are mentioned in it. In this, the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020) have been combined with 297 works. The agencies and timelines responsible for this have also been fixed. 304 results have been set for these works.
