New curriculum for Anganwadi centers started in Uttar Pradesh

New Syllabus in Anganwadi Centers 2021: New curriculum for Anganwadi Centers ‘Early Childhood, Care and Education’ was launched by Governor Anandiben Patel on Monday at BHU’s Faculty of Science Auditorium. This course, made in three sections for children from three years to six years, will be started in the Anganwadi centers of Sevapuri block under the pilot project. After imparting the education for three to six months here, a proposal to implement it in the state will be given to the Rajru government. After this the course will be conducted at all Anganwadi centers in the state.

On the first day of the four-day visit, the Governor also released the booklet of the new syllabus in the three-day training program of Anganwadi workers at BHU. It has been prepared by Vidyabharati. It includes poems for children, sports along with Moral Science and other entertainment topics. So that children can have an interest in reading. Till now only a booklet named Pahal was taught at the Anganwadi center.

Early education should be encouraged in children. The Governor told Anganwadi workers that there is a lot of force in the new education policy. In this, education of four years, four to five and 5 to 6 years is part of the Anganwadi center. In order to make the future of India, children and children should be imparted rites of education. 80 percent of what is taught and taught to a child for 8 years gets molded into their habit. Therefore, elementary education is very important. He told that before coming to Anganwadi the children saw in their house, they came to the Anganwadi about things and behavior heard. Therefore, the Anganwadi should remove the deficiencies inside the child and do activities related to talk, behavior, studies, sports etc. accordingly.
