New Education Policy: There is also a provision of providing breakfast in mid-day meal in Chhattisgarh

School Education Department of Chhattisgarh has started the process for implementation of new education policy. For this, the School Education Department has constituted a task force committee. In the new education policy, not only reading and reading work but also provision of giving breakfast to children during mid-day meal has been made. Director of Chhattisgarh School Education Department Jitendra Shukla informed about the meeting of the officials.

He further explained that in relation to the implementation and challenges of the National Education Policy, the provision of timely attainment of goals set in the Foundation Literacy, providing mid-day meals as well as morning breakfast in schools, the time and resources involved, the morning of schools Opening at 10 am and delaying nasta distribution are the main ones.

In addition to ensuring availability in schools on the basis of demand of qualified teachers as per merit, students need flexibility in special selection, concrete strategy is needed on issues related to education of children in class 5 and beyond in their mother tongue.

Research and Training Council made nodal agency

In the state of Chhattisgarh, the State Council for Educational Research and Training has been made the nodal agency for the implementation of the National Education Policy. Under this, a task force has been constituted for the implementation of various programs. It is worth mentioning that for implementation of the new National Education Policy, the webinar was organized two months ago under the chairmanship of Dr. Alok Shukla, Principal Secretary, School Education Department.

In this, suggestions were also received from national and international level institutions working in school education. In this new education policy, basic literacy and numeracy and focusing on the topic of early childhood care and education, invited ideas.
