Candidates applying for the post of Microbiologist should be Medical Graduate with PG Degree/ Diploma, M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology.
Candidates applying for the post of Post Training Coordinator should be Graduate in Social Work/ Sociology/ Rural Development from a recognized University with minimum 50 % marks & have degree or diploma in Computer Application.
Candidates applying for the post of Vaccine & Logistic Manager should be M.Sc. from UGC recognized University.
Candidates applying for the post of Bio-Medical Engineer should be Graduation Engineer in Bio-medical/ Electronics from Govt. recognized University/ Institution.

The state has a tropical savanna climate during the monsoon season; the south west monsoon brings heavy rains, which cause frequent floods.
