Jawaharlal Nehru University ( JNU ), one of the prestigious and best institutes of the country, is now starting engineering and management schools. The Minister of Education (Education Minister) Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank ( Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank ) on Monday, January 4, 2021, JNU has inaugurated new buildings for these two schools.

The foundation stone of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship for Academic Complex for School of Engineering and Management has been laid. The goal of the university is that the buildings of these two schools should be completed in the next 20 months.

On this occasion, JNU Vice Chancellor M Jagdish Kumar (JNU VC) said, ‘When we decided to start these schools, then we also decided that we will not repeat the things that other engineering or management schools are offering. That’s why we have designed a 5-year dual degree course in engineering, which is special and different in itself. ‘

‘Similarly, for management, we have focused on areas like agriculture management, rural industries, MSME, rural development. Because we know that the demand for these regions will increase in the coming years for ‘Self-reliant India’.

the education minister joined the online medium in the foundation stone program. On this occasion, Nishank said that ‘JNU is leading towards the implementation of new education policy (NEP). Multidisciplinary universities are to be set up in the country under the new National Education Policy 2020.

He said that ‘most engineering / management graduates coming out of this institute will not find jobs, but will give. They will compete for patents, not for the students salary package.
