No student of Himachal government schools will be deprived of online education. The government itself will provide students who do not have smart phones. Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan will start a donate device program for this. Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur made this announcement at the conclusion of e-PTM. Govind Thakur said that children are being taught online under the ‘Har Ghar Pathshala’ program. Teachers also take classes for the children. In order to improve and make online learning more interesting, refresher courses will be conducted for the teachers. Guidelines for this will be issued soon.
He said that there has been a suggestion to make studies better in e-PTM. He said that printed worksheets would be provided to all the students. Orders have been placed to print the worksheet. Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan has created a unique ID for WhatsApp. Under this, students will now be linked to a single number. Resource groups of teachers are being prepared so that e-content of more syllabus can be created.
Virendra Sharma, State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan informed that 12962 schools have been reached through e-PTM. Apart from this, six lakh 77 thousand children and two lakh 94 thousand parents have been connected. During this, the Education Minister said that online talks will be held with the teachers engaged in Kovid duty even after that. 4000 teachers are giving duty in covid vaccination, registration, home isolation.
