Senior Research Fellow leads and manages research projects and contribute to the research strategies of Unit and faculty. He develops proposals for significant research projects which increase the knowledge understanding and discover of new explanations, processes, concepts and insights.

Candidates should possess M.Sc in Plant Pathology or Microbiology or Agriculture/ Botany/ Life Science with specialization in Plant Pathology with relevant experience.

ICAR-National Research Centre on Pomegranate was established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi in the year 2005. It was set to strengthen research and development infrastructure for pomegranate crop. This is the only institution working solely on pomegranate. It is located in Pune, Maharashtra.
