Online class increased the problems of English medium students, reading material is not available

Due to Corona, the importance of online classes has increased since last year. Be it private or government, children are being educated online by all schools. But the trouble of English medium students studying in government schools has increased due to online classes. Actually, WhatsApp groups have been formed as per the instructions of the government to teach school children.

In which all the text material including links, videos are sent for the students to study. But all this text material is in Hindi only. Due to which English medium students have to face a lot of difficulty in studying. The special thing is that even the distribution of free books from the government to the English medium students has not been done yet. Due to which the problems of the students have increased manifold. Even the doubts of English medium students are not being ensured by the teachers.

Ashok Srivastava, principal of Government Padma Kanya Vidyalaya, said that about 40 percent of the students in the school study in English medium. It is a fact that English medium students are facing some inconvenience these days. Because all the reading material comes from Bhopal, which is put in the WhatsApp group. All this material is in Hindi only, it does not come in English. Although the reading material of various subjects is prepared in English by the teachers to help the students, but still some subjects are facing difficulty in teaching. For online education, teachers prepare notes on WhatsApp itself and also check them. English medium students have not been able to get free books, so e-books have been made available to them.
