The Basic Education Department has completed the lottery process of the second phase of the Right to Education Act (RTE). In this, 1233 were selected out of a total of 3840 applications received.

District Basic Education Officer Rajiv Kumar Yadav said that the second phase process for admission to the academic session 2021-21 in RTE lasted till June 10, in which a total of 3840 applications were received. During scrutiny 516 applications were rejected. A total of 3119 applications were verified. Out of them 1233 applications were selected. Now those children will be admitted in the schools recognized by the Basic Education Department till June 30.

At the same time, the process of the first phase started on April 5, in which 4840 candidates had applied. Out of them, 4061 applications were verified, while 2168 applications were selected in the lottery for admission. The process of admission of these students has been completed.

Third phase process from June 25

At the same time, the process of the third and final phase will start from June 25 and applications can be made till July 15. The applications received on 18th July will be verified and the lottery will be conducted on 20th July. Whereas admission will be ensured by 30 July.
