Paschim Banga Gramin Bank Hiring candidates for 103 posts


Paschim Banga Gramin Bank is a government bank established in the year 2007, is working in exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 23A of the Regional Rural Bank Act 1976. The bank is established by the amalgamation of Howrah Gramin Bank Bardhaman Gramin Bank and Mayurakshi Gramin Bank. It has 219 branches and 4 regional offices.

The bank is operating in four major districts of West Bengal namely Howrah, Hooghly, Burdwan and Birbhum, with its Head Office at Howrah. PBGM is recruiting 103 posts for officers in Senior Management Grade (Scale III), Middle Management Grade (Scale II), Junior Management Grade (Scale I), Cadre and office Assistant (multipurpose).

Eligibility Criteria:


  • Applicant must have done Graduation in the field of commerce from a recognized institute or college for the post of Scale 13 & 4.
  • Applicant must have Charted Accountant or MBA in finance for Scale 2.
  • Applicant must have scored 50% in graduation for Scale 2.

Age limit:
As on 1.6.2015
21-40 years for scale 1.
21-32 years for scale 2.
18-28 years for scale 3 & 4

Age relaxation:
As per the rules of Government of India.

Selection Process:
Applicants will be selected on the bases of performance in RRB’s common written examination conducted by IBPS in September and October 2014 and personal interview.

  • Take out the print of CHALLAN, and fill it.
  • Pay the fees in any branch of PBGB.
  • Keep the copy of challan with you.
  • Revisit the link & fill all the relevant details carefully.
  • Check your filled details & click on submit button.
  • Note down the unique code displaying on the screen and take the printout copies.
