As soon as the new education session starts, the school operators have come together to protest against the District Education Officer under pressure from parents regarding the annual fee. Citing the orders of the Supreme Court, the District Education Officer of Ambala has been given notice of contempt of court.

Under the banner of Haryana Schools Progressive Conference HPSC, the school operators met DC Ashok Sharma with a notice to the District Education Officer and handed over a copy of the orders of the Supreme Court. DC Ashok Sharma assured that the work will be done as per the orders of the court and he sent a copy of these orders to the ACS and District Education Officer of the Education Department.

Prashant Munjal and Advisor Saurabh Kapoor, Deputy Principal of Haryana Schools Progressive Conference, said that along with Ambala, wherever the letters are being taken out against the school operators by the District Education Officer ignoring the orders of the Supreme Court, by the State Wing of HPSC Notice of contempt of court is being given. He said that in Ambala also, the District Education Officer took out the letter citing the orders of the Director and the High Court and prohibited the annual fee,

while the Supreme Court in its orders on 8 February 2021 has clarified that the school operator annual fee and other May incur expenses.
On 19 March 2021, the High Court also accepted these orders of the Supreme Court for Punjab and Haryana. Prashant told that a letter has also been issued by the government regarding this. After this, whatever charge has been taken from the parents in 2019-20, he can take charge in 2020-2021. The Supreme Court stated clearly in its orders that guardians can pay their dues in 6 installments from March 5, 2021 to August 2021.
