Online record of data related to all government and private schools in the district will be maintained. Efforts have also started in this regard. The portal has also been made available by the government for data entry of schools. The data updation work of schools is also being monitored by the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan of the Education Department. Schools have been given user id and password for online entry on the basis of dice code, mobile number and email id. Apart from the government schools, the registered private schools will have to update all the related information on the U DICE portal.

Schools have to make available information about all the resources they have. Let us inform that earlier data was taken on manual format, this time after online data entry, the format will have to be submitted manually.

Education quality is determined on the basis of data

According to the information received from the District Education Office, in the online entry, the school head has the building available in the school, infrastructure, number of teachers, educational quality, the benefits of the beneficiary based scheme of the schools, Aadhaar update, number of students, class of class. It is mandatory to enter other information including number, category wise number of students. On the basis of the data to be entered, the state government determines the teacher-student ratio, availability of teachers, number of teachers required and quality education.

Work interrupted due to school closure due to lockdown

The data entry work on the U Dys Plus portal is slow due to the closure of schools during the lockdown imposed to reduce and prevent the spread of global pandemic corona virus infection. At the same time, necessary guidelines have also been given by DPO Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan to the headmasters of all the schools of the district to provide technical assistance for data entry on U Dys Plus portal and to provide user ID and password. The DPO has said that in any case, all government and registered private schools will have to do data updation. Further action will be taken as per instructions on negligence in this.
