Forest Guard is a person who invigilates and notifies the happenings in forest. He prevents encroachment and protects animals against any kind of injury.  He check forest produce in transit and see that the forest produce is not removed except in accordance with the transit rules.

Rajasthan Forest Department is in charge of forest and wildlife management in state of Rajasthan. It is also responsible for the administration of woods and natural life in Rajasthan. The different exercises done by the department are Protection of Forest, Managing Wildlife, Conserving Soil and Moisture, Planning of Forest, Promoting Ecotourism, Expanding the forest cover.
