Recognition of private schools will be canceled if registration is not done

All the basic basic schools of the district have been instructed to register on the RTE portal. Despite this, private schools have not taken interest in it. Now the government has given the schools a last chance to register by 17 April. The BSA has warned schools against non-registration for the prescribed period to take action to cancel the accreditation. Explain that 527 schools will be registered so far.

The government has instructed the school management to upload all the information related to all recognized private basic schools on the portal of the Right to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE). On this, orders were issued by Director General School Education Vijay Kiran Anand on 15 December last year. The school operators were required to give all the information related to the school on one of the modules added to the NIC on the portal, but the private school operators did not listen to this order of the government. According to the Basic Education Department, there are 787 recognized private basic schools in the district. In just three and a half months, only 260 schools have also registered themselves on the portal.

Currently 527 schools are yet to be registered. At present, the government has given another chance to schools who are not registered. District Coordinator of District Integrated Education Rakesh Patel said that the government has again extended the RTE portal to 17. has opened. The schools which have not registered themselves, should register on the portal by 17 April. In the event of not registering at the scheduled time, action will be taken to revoke the recognition.

Despite the government ordering private schools to register on the RTE portal, most of the schools did not register. Now the portal has been reopened till 17 April. Recognition will be canceled on schools that do not register for the stipulated period.
