School-college closed till 15, education department agrees, government will take final decision
Educational institutions in Himachal Pradesh are likely to be closed by April 15 due to the Corona transition. In this time period, students of board classes or higher educational institutions can come for their clearance clearance or examinations. Teaching institutes have already been closed till April 4 in the state. A high-level meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Anil Khachi to review it. In this, the Health Department has recommended that the educational institutions should be closed till 15 April. Agreeing on this, the Education Department said that between April 10 and April 15, there are five days of holidays. Due to this, the Department of Education also argued that there is no objection to the closure of educational institutions till April 15.
Due to this, this decision, which was agreed with the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary, will now be sent to the state government for final approval. However, it was decided in the meeting that from April 5 to April 9, there will be five days of work. This is followed by Secund Saturday on 10 April and a holiday on Sunday. After this, one day on April 12 will be an optional holiday on 13 after working day. Similarly, on April 14, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Jayanti and April 15 will be the holiday of Himachal Day. For this reason, it was agreed to keep the educational institutions closed till 15 April to break the chain of corona infection. It was also decided in the meeting that during this time period, it would be mandatory for teaching-non-teaching staff to come to educational institutions. During this time, the exam related students can come and clear with their social distancing.
Students who do not give paper will not be promoted
Taking a big decision on school exams, the state government has made physical examinations in spite of corona infection. The notification issued from the Department of Education states that the result of the students who do not take the school examination will not be declared. The passed orders state that only students who take the exam will be passed or promoted.
School staff also leave till four
Taking a decision to keep the schools closed till April 4, the state government has also discharged the teaching-non-teaching staff. Under this, now the district and state libraries will also be closed till April 4. Teaching-non-teaching staff will also not be available in schools.
Admissions will start from April 5
Admissions to schools will start from April 5. Under this, students from 1st to 12th can enroll in schools between April 5 and 10 without any late fee. During this time the teaching-non-teaching staff will be present in the school and will implement all the procedures.
