School-colleges and other educational institutions will remain closed till April 10, decision taken due to Corona

Chandigarh Administrator VP Singh Badnore has issued a directive on Monday that all schools, colleges and other educational institutions in the city will remain closed till April 10. This decision has been taken in view of increasing cases of corona infection. However, in Monday’s meeting, no decision was taken on the remaining examinations of the ninth and eleventh students of government schools. Education Department officials said that this week will issue instructions regarding the examination of students and the beginning of the new semester. For this, a meeting with departmental officials is going on.
