Schools in Maharashtra for students from fifth grade to eighth grade will open from 27 January. This information has been given by Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad of the state. He has told via tweet that the schools will be reopened from January 27 to January 8 for students from the fifth grade to the eighth grade. He said that the Chief Minister of the state has given consent to reopen the schools from 5th to 8th. He said that the safety of children would be given the highest priority while reopening schools.

Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad has informed through his official Twitter handle that classes from fifth to eighth grade will be opened with all precautions from January 27. Significantly, the schools were closed since March last year due to the global corona epidemic. Since then, students are being taught through online medium. Schools from fifth to eighth have already been opened in many states. Whereas, many states are now gradually opening primary to secondary schools under the guidelines issued for the corona virus.
