Schools open today: schools from 10th to 12th opened today, learn new rules

L0 th and all public schools to 12th grade in Jharkhand has issued orders to open Thursday. Director of Secondary Education Jatashankar Chaudhary has issued instructions to the District Education Officers in this regard. All teachers of government schools have been made mandatory in the order issued. Earlier only two teachers were allowed to come to school.

The Director of Secondary Education has issued this order in the light of the order of Department of Home, Prison and Disaster Management. However, nowhere in the order has it been clarified whether the children will come to the schools or not. For this,detailed instructions of Disaster Management Department are awaited. Explain that in the order issued on May 7 from the level of Directorate, at least two teachers were directed to conduct non-academic work for the office operations of government schools. Now the presence of all teachers has been made mandatory by canceling the earlier instructions.  

There will be no prayer meeting, nor sports or other events in schools

Standard operating procedures (SOPs) have already been issued to prevent corona from opening on schools. According to the SOP issued by the Jharkhand Education Project Council in collaboration with UNICEF, physical distance rules will be strictly followed in schools and children, teachers and other workers will be required to wear masks, gloves etc. Prayer meetings will not be held in schools. There will be no sports or any other event. Separate standard procedures have been set for teachers, children, school management committees, all.

What else in SOP

1. Classrooms, drinking water sources, toilets, hand washing units, etc. will be continuously cleaned.
2. Surfaces that are repeatedly touched, such as recessed, window, door, etc., will be sanitized regularly.
3. Soap and handwashing water will be available in schools.
4. The award will not be encouraged for 100% attendance or ideal attendance.
5. Children will not be allowed to attend school if they have symptoms of corona.
6. Children will wash their hands regularly with soap and avoid touching their eyes, nose, mouth etc.
7. Children will immediately inform the teacher in case of cough, fever or any other problem.
