Only 9 per cent of children in Bihar’s government secondary and higher secondary schools are coming. After a surprise inspection in all 38 districts of the state on Thursday, the report to the government says that the fear of corona has not gone away from the minds of children and their parents.

The state government has established a detailed guideline for conducting safe reading and safe reading from corona infection, after the completion of 296 days, schools and schools of 9th state have been opened since Monday after 296 days in the direction of following safety standards. However, even after four days, the condition of the children was not found encouraging. The education department conducted a surprise inspection of the schools in all the 38 districts of the state on Thursday with the district level education officials.

The districts were to report it to the Education Department by 2 pm. Education Department spokesman Amit Kumar said that compared to enrollment in 166 inspected schools in 38 districts of the state, the attendance of students was 9.02 percent. However, following the guidelines issued by the department on 24 December, it was found in all 165 schools except one school in Muzaffarpur. Children coming to school were found wearing masks.
22 teachers found absent

Out of a total of 2254 working in 166 schools under surprise inspection, 2044 teachers were present. Districts have reported to 188 teachers on leave, while 22 teachers were found to be missing illegally. Action will be taken on these.

Districts have reported to start operating smart class in 147 out of 166 smart class reports . Among the 19 schools in which the Bihar scheme is not being upgraded, one each in Patna, Nalanda, Gaya, Jehanabad, Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Siwan, Kishanganj, Katihar and Begusarai, 2 in Madhubani, 3 in Muzaffarpur and 4 schools in Sheikhpura.
