After the board students in Uttarakhand, the state government has given the green signal to open schools for students of 9th and 11th classes after nine months. Education Minister Arvind Pandey, in a meeting with department officials at the Secretariat on Monday, directed to open schools immediately for the students of these classes. Apart from this, instructions have been given to open schools for students of classes from six to eight.

Education Minister Arvind Pandey said that due to Covid-19 schools have been closed in the state for the last several months, but now the situation has become somewhat normal. In view of this, instructions have been given to open schools immediately for the students of 9th and 11th grades. The minister said that within the next two to four days this week, schools will be opened for the students of these classes. Whereas from February 1, instructions have been given to open schools for students of classes six to eighth.

The children from the first to the fifth grade will be studying from home
for the time being. A proposal is being prepared by the Education Department about opening schools in Uttarakhand, but the Chief Minister will take a final decision on this. The Education Minister said that after the decision in the Chief Minister and Cabinet meeting on this proposal, the schools will be opened. No decision has been taken on the issue of opening schools for students from one to fifth.  According to the officials of the

education department, the guide line of Kovid will be followed , according to the instruction of the education minister, a proposal to open the school is being prepared and it is being sent to the government. The SOP will be issued before the school opens. Only then will the schools be opened following the guide line of Covid 19.

All universities and colleges will open in the first week of February
All universities and colleges in Uttarakhand will also open in the first week of February. Minister of State for Higher Education Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat took this decision after concurrence in a meeting held with all the Vice Chancellors recently. Everyone agreed on the opening of the college.

Education department officials have been instructed to open the school. The officials will prepare a proposal for this, the final decision is to be taken at the level of the Chief Minister.

Now, the candidates who have got D.Ed from NIOS in the state will not be able to join the teacher recruitment. The Education Minister said that a revised mandate would be issued for this.
Now, 10000 honorarium will be given to PTA teachers and 25000 to guest teachers in the state. The Education Minister has given instructions to prepare the proposal and send it to the government.
– Government has released budget for 190 Atal excellent schools in the state.

– Education Minister also instructed to fill more than one thousand vacant posts of principal in the state before the new education session starts.
Now, adjusted teachers in the state will also get the benefit of old services in the selection and promotion pay scale. This will benefit about 7000 teachers in the state.
Rs 1.5 crore released for Atal excellent schools
For the two Atal excellent schools to be constructed in every block of the state, an amount of 1.5 crore has been released by the government. According to Education Minister Arvind Pandey, this amount will be provided with furniture and toilets in schools.

On behalf of the state government, 190 schools in the state are being made Atal Excellent School. For this, a list of selected schools was recently released by the government by selecting two schools in each block. According to the Education Minister, these schools will be accredited by the CBSE Board. For this, a meeting with the principals of these schools has been called soon. There will be separate meetings with the principals of Garhwal and Kumaon divisions.

The minister informed that service manuals are being prepared for these schools. In which teachers will be placed on the basis of screening test. Where will the uniforms be for the children and teachers of these schools. It will also be decided soon.  According to Education Minister Arvind Pandey,

the statue of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be installed in every state. In these schools, all necessary facilities will be made available for the students.
