‘Sharda’ will get admission in the class according to the age of the child, studies will be done in special classes

In Gorakhpur district, children who are deprived of education will be identified and admitted according to their age in the council schools. Along with this, the record of which school the identified children have been admitted in which class will have to be uploaded on the Sharda portal. The Basic Education Department has sent information about the changes in the admission process to all the Basic Education Officers.

Whatever be the age of the children, but they used to start their studies from class one, but now they will be given admission in classes according to the age. If the child is ten years old and has never been enrolled in school. In such a situation also he will be given admission in class V according to age.

Similarly, admission will be done in other classes also. With this, the child will not lag behind in the class and will also be able to complete the studies on time. If you have the educational qualification up to the prescribed age limit for a government job, you will also get a chance to appear in competitive exams.

Children who will get age-wise admission under the Sharda program will have to study in special classes to bring their level of education up to class. Where they will be taught writing and reading on the basis of a special curriculum and the syllabus till their class will be completed. Teachers will be given training to conduct special classes.

Apart from this, extra classes will also be held for these children. Until the child is able to learn to read and write, he will first be reminded orally and the information related to chapters of different subjects will be made memorized. Teachers say that if the child is older in age, then he will soon be able to learn to read and write.

District Basic Education Officer BN Singh said that under the Sharda program, out of school children will be identified and admitted according to their age. Special classes will be conducted to bring the education of the children up to the level of their class. The records of the identified children will also have to be uploaded on the Sharda portal. For this orders have been issued by the State Project Director of Samagra Shiksha. This will be implemented as soon as the school opens.
