Daughter to one of the most iconic filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar and debutante in forthcoming Dabangg 3, actress Saiee Manjrekar reveals details about her character and her childhood experience which helped her shape Khushi opposite Salman Khan.

Saiee Manjrekar will debut opposite Salman Khan in forthcoming Dabangg3, she will be seen playing the role of Khushi, the first love of Chulbul Panday. Sharing details about her character, Saiee said, “I am playing a character named Khushi and she is a very simple, innocent and sweet girl. And my character is the first love of Chulbul Panday, so there is going to be a lot of things you will see in the movie”

Further adding, Saiee said, “My character hails from a village but I am someone who is born and raised in a big city. So I had to work hard to find the right note for my character, things like culture, diction and finer nuances, so I had to work hard on them. I think while growing up I’d visited so many small towns and villages with my dad as he would be shooting, so I got a lot of help from that experience for my character.”

Sharing her experience working with Salman Khan in the film, Saiee said, “It was a really nice experience working with him. He is really a nice human being. He makes you feel special and he makes you feel comfortable while working so, I am really thankful to him. I got to learn a lot of things from him. I used to go home with a new lesson while we were shooting for the film.”

The film is directed by Prabhu Deva, also starring Sonakshi Sinha, Arbaaz Khan, Mahie Gill and Sudeep in the lead roles. The film is scheduled to be theatrically released in India on 20 December 2019.
