Usually, most people either use yogurt to make raita, buttermilk or lassi. Eating yogurt in this way can be quite boring at times. This is the reason why we are sharing here with you some very easy and tasty recipes made from yogurt.

Dahi Ke Kebab:

Ingredients –

Hung Curd – 1 Cup

Mashed Paneer – Half Cup

Bread Crumb – Half Cup

Finely chopped onions

Finely chopped capsicum

Finely chopped ginger

1 tsp Finely chopped green chilies

1 tsp Finely chopped coriander

half small teaspoon Ground black pepper

Salt to taste

Oil for frying

Method- Add mashed paneer, capsicum, onion, ginger, green chili, salt and ground black pepper in a container and mix it well. Keep it covered for a while. This will remove the water present in it. After separating this water, now add Hung Curd in this mixture and mix it well and then finally add the bread crumb so that it binds well.

If you want, you can also use roasted gram flour instead of bread crumbs. Make round round kebabs with this mixture by applying oil on the palms and fry it in the hot pan till they turn golden brown from both sides. Serve it with onion, pickles and green chutney.

Frozen Yogurt-

Ingredients –

Full cream yogurt – 1 cup

Mango Pulp – Half Cup

Ground sugar – 2 tbsp

Vanilla essence – 1 tsp

Mango pieces – 2 tbsp

Method- Put the full cream curd in a sieve and leave it for 10-15 minutes. By doing this, all its extra water will drain. We do not have to remove all the water of yogurt, just extract extra water. Now take out the curd in a bowl, add ground sugar and mix it well until the curd becomes smooth and creamy. Add vanilla essence and mango pulp to it and mix.

You can also use honey instead of sugar. After mixing all the things well, put a few pieces of mango in the ice cream mold, add yogurt mixture on top, and then put the lid to freeze in the freezer. If you do not have an ice cream mold, you can also store it in small cups or glass.
