Come and plant good saplings of Dainik Jagran, it is continuously achieving new heights. On Thursday, the Mainpuri police took a pledge to plant more than eight thousand saplings by becoming a participant in the campaign. On Friday, Swaraj Devi Memorial Education Group of Kuravali decided to plant 11,000 saplings. School director social worker Alok Kumar Gupta has also prepared a plan to make complete arrangements for the protection and care of plants.

The caravan of participation in Dainik Jagran’s plantation campaign is progressing day by day. Social workers and various organizations are becoming partners with the police department, municipal bodies. On Friday, Alok Kumar Gupta, director of Swaraj Devi Memorial Public School, the main educational institution of the district, also became a participant. Alok Kumar Gupta told that this campaign of Dainik Jagran is the need of the hour. Due to environmental damage and increasing pollution, the cycle of nature has been affected, there is also a problem for human health. He will become a participant in this holy work and will get 11 thousand saplings planted. Plants that give the most oxygen will be included in this. Social worker Alok Gupta told that he is getting 11 thousand saplings of Peepal, Neem, Banyan, Mango, Jamun, Gulmohar etc. After planting these plants, he himself will supervise their care. The saplings that he will plant on the roadside, will make brick guards for the safety of all. Plantation will be done at these places

Out of 11 thousand saplings, one thousand saplings will be planted on the roadside, mainly from Galanath of the canal bridge to Ghiror road canal bridge, about three kilometers long. Similarly, about 1000 saplings will be planted on the route from GT Road to Nagla Usar. Remaining plants will be planted in about a dozen villages including 30 bighas of land lying vacant at Nagla Usar Mor, village Khikharna, Naurangpur, Nagla Kinnar, Sujanpur. Plantation will also take place near the mosque in Mohalla Pathanan of Kurawali Nagar. Helped the needy even in lockdown

Social worker Alok Gupta had helped the needy even during the lockdown last year. Half a dozen buses of his school had taken migrant laborers from Kurawali to Bewar Chhibramau, Kannauj, Kanpur, Etawah, Lucknow. His buses were running continuously for about 20 days. From taking the migrant laborers home, he himself had arranged for food and milk for their children. Apart from this, about 200 packets of ration material were distributed daily to poor families. Vegetables, biscuits, bread etc. were also delivered to the needy. Apart from this, he has been planting trees in the past as well. More than 500 saplings have been planted in the last three years.
