Preparations have been started to implement the new National Education Policy in the state. In the first phase, the new policy related to increasing the quality of education and providing employment will be implemented. Chief Secretary Omprakash has given instructions in this regard. 

On Thursday, a meeting of the State High Level Approval Committee was held in connection with the proposed action plan for the implementation of the new National Education Policy under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Omprakash. In this, the implementation of the new policy in primary, secondary and higher education brainstormed on the proposed action plan. Top officials shared important suggestions. 

The Chief Secretary said that work should be started in the new policy to implement the provisions which are comfortable in quality and improvement of education. The techniques that require extensive discussion, They should be kept for further discussion. In the next meeting, the Chief Secretary asked to invite government and non-government academics to mold education and prepare its infrastructure in accordance with the provisions of the new policy. In the first phase, he directed to prepare the outline of the formation of various bodies, committees and sub-committeesand to do detailed homework to comply with the main provisions of the education policy.

Committees and sub-committees were also asked to be formed. These committees will pave the way for better implementation of the new policy. Higher department Principal Secretary Anand Badradhan, Education Secretary R Meenakshi Sundaram, Secretary Harbans Singh Chugh, Academic Research and Training Director Seema Jaunsari and many departmental officers were present. Instructed to prepare a framework for the formation of committees and sub-committees and to dodetailed homework to comply with the main provisions of the education policy.
