Tripura University Recruitment for JRF Walk-In 2015. Tripura University has invited applications for the recruitment of Junior Research Fellow vacancies for the project entitled “Understanding dioecy by exploring Floral Organ Identity Genes (OIGs) in Coecinia grandis- a new model for study”.
Junior Research fellow is a person appointed to produce high quality reports, academic papers and journal articles of data. He works independently and autonomously on a number of research and policy projects. He manages external relationship with funders and other stakeholders. A research fellow may act either as an independent investigator or under the supervision of a principal investigator.

Tripura University is the main public/central government university of the Indian state of Tripura. Tripura University ranked 4th position in Eastern and 43rd position in all India. Tripura University was launched on October 2, 1987.The state’s first institution of higher education, MBB College, had commenced functioning from 1947 with affiliation from Calcutta University but in the immediate aftermath of partition the population of the state registered a steep growth and so did the number of students aspiring for higher education. The third-smallest state in the country it covers 10,491 km2 (4,051 sq. mi) and is bordered by Bangladesh.
