UP B.Ed. Admission 2020: Colleges will be able to direct admission in B.Ed from 24th December

The process of pool counseling held for admission to B.Ed colleges of the state including the capital was completed on Monday. In this 5 day process, 9341 candidates have been allotted colleges. Even after this, about 140,000 seats are still vacant. These vacant seats will now go directly for admission at the college level.

State Coordinator of Joint Entrance Examination B.Ed-2020-22 Prof. Amita Bajpai said that the direct admission process will now start from December 24. This is the last cycle of counseling. Admission at the college level will be done only through the B.Ed Counseling portal.

Only a valid state-rank holder candidate can participate in this cycle of counseling. In this counseling, only those candidates who have not participated in the main counseling or participated in the main counseling or pool counseling have not been allotted any seats. Candidates will have to submit a counseling fee of Rs 750 only in non-refundable only online mode (through net banking, debit card or credit card). The college will verify the candidate’s details from Lucknow University website and will give direct admission to the candidate as per the rules. The fee will be deposited at the college level.
