Due to Corona, about 1.60 lakh teachers of primary and upper primary schools of the state doing work from home will go to school from July 1. Secretary Basic Education Council Pratap Singh Baghel has given permission to the teachers and employees to go to school for administrative work in the order issued on 14th June in order of the mandate of 30th May.

However, students will not come to school till further orders. In a letter sent to all Basic Education Officers and Divisional Assistant Director of Basic Education, it is written that 100% enrollment of children from class 1 to 8, teachers are allowed to go to school for distribution of free textbooks.

This has been done to make the work of sending the conversion cost of mid-day meal in council schools to the account of children and parents, operation Kayakalp, operation of e-pathshala under Mission Prerna, etc. in a time bound manner.
