An important meeting of the UP Board was held in the Parijat Hall of the Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday under the leadership of the Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Dinesh Sharma. Dr. Sharma instructed the board officials to issue marksheets of class 10th and 12th students in July on the basis of the prescribed evaluation formula. 

The Deputy Chief Minister also asked the officers of the Higher Education Department to bring transparency in the admissions of UG and PG. Apart from Higher Education and Secondary Education Department, officers of Basic Education Department also attended the meeting. During this, various points related to it including the formation of Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission were also discussed.

 

In the meeting, the Deputy CM instructed the responsible officers to be alert while directing the immediate deployment of the recently selected teachers by the commission. Instructing the Secondary and Higher Education Department to implement the transfer of teachers and principals in an online manner, he asked to open the portal by June 28.

Asked to fill the
vacant posts of Sanskrit teachers, the Education Minister also instructed to make immediate policy regarding the appointment of Sanskrit teachers on the vacant posts. Basic Education Minister Satish Chandra Dwivedi attended the meeting through the Zoom app. Apart from him, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Monika S Garg, Additional Chief Secretary Secondary Education Aradhana Shukla, Principal Secretary Higher Education Subhash Chandra Sharma and all the officers of the Education Department were present in the meeting.

In the UP Board Exam 2021, more than 56 lakh students,
this year a total of 5604628 students had registered for the UP Board Exam. 29,94,312 students were registered for the high school examination and 2610316 students were registered for the intermediate examination. There were regular students in high school, 2974487 (99.34 percent) and private students 19825 (0.66 percent). In Intermediate regular students were 2517658 and private students were 92658.
