Uttarakhand: Winter Vacation Cancellation of 10th-12th class, teachers will also be present in school

Uttarakhand Education Department has canceled Winter Vacation for students of 10th and 12th standard. This decision has been taken keeping in mind that students should complete their board exam syllabus before the board examination starts.

Issuing an order on 24 December, the state government said that teachers of class 10th and 12th will be present in the school, while teachers of other classes are not required to come to school.

However, district magistrates may also consider closing schools based on weather conditions. This order is applicable for state government schools and government aided schools.

Following the COVID-19 guidelines, the schools were reopened in Uttarakhand for class 10th and 12th students on November 2 after a gap of seven months.
