The organization also established the Urban Local Bodies (Municipal Corporations, Municipalities, Notified Area Authorities, Industrial Township Authorities) and also the establishment of different organizations under the Urban Development and Municipal Affairs Department, Government of West Bengal. Now the organization has announced vacancy for the post 0f Food Safety Officer. Those candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology and experience From a recognized university or institute can apply for the post.

- A degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Services or Bio-Chemistry
- Micro Biology or Master’s Degree Chemistry or a Degree in Medicine from a recognized University.

Those candidates who are eligible will appear for the written exam and then shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview and selection will be based on that only.
