Yogi government repealed three Acts of Basic Education Department, know why?

The cabinet has decided to repeal the three Education Acts of the Basic Education Department. These include Uttar Pradesh Primary Education Act-1919, United Provinces Primary Education Act-1919 and United Provinces District Council Primary Education Act-1926. After the implementation of the UP Basic Education Act-1972, these three bills are not in circulation.

Yogi government will amend, give form of act
In addition to this, the Yogi Adityanath government is going to give it the shape of the Act by amending the Uttar Pradesh Fundamental Rule 56, made in 2001 to increase the retirement of the personnel of the state government services from 58 years to 60 years in 2001.

Cabinet approval for bicirculation
For this, the draft of the UP Fundamental Rule 56 (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2021 was approved by the Cabinet Bicirculation on Thursday. The government can bring this bill in the budget session of the Legislature. This will provide relief to the government in cases related to raising the retirement age.

Was amended in the manual
In 2001, the government issued an executive order to increase the superannuation age of state services personnel from 58 to 60 years. The amendment in the manual was done later. The court had objected that the rules cannot be made by backdate. Therefore, the government has now prepared to amend the manual to make it an act so that the actions taken under it can be legalized.
